Former Flight Attendant Sues Delta for Age Discrimination

According to The Business Journals, a 79 year-old former flight attendant has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles against Delta Airlines (“Delta”), alleging age discrimination.

Ida Gomez Llanos began working as a flight attendant for Delta in 1962 and was terminated in June 2019. Among other things, Llanos’s lawsuit alleges that Delta “intended to get rid of its most senior flight attendants” and “welcomed any criticism of its oldest employees in order to justify the eventual termination of their employment.” Read the full The Business Journals article here.
